Product and service professionalism at best. Dysfunctional staff who void of intelligence .

I bought glasses and I had an eye exam in the Alderwood Sore near Seattle, WA. while on vacation. When I received the product, there were issues, so I contacted the store. I was given an appointment for a video call. No Show! Got an email instead. Scheduled a second video call, no response, nothing. They never answer the phone. All the phone numbers to contact Warby Parker are B.S. If this is how you treat people who buy your products, you Just made an Enemy for Life.

I was told any scratches in the first 6 months would be covered. When I brought the glasses in I was told they only repair the scratches once.

They ignored me and refused to fix them. The funny thing, this scratch has grown in size. I guess this should be expected with this made in Chinese crap.

Original review Mar 23, 2023
I went to the Boca Raton Warby Parker store because I had a few scratches on one of my lenses. I was told by your sales associate, somewhat harshly
that I only got scratches fixed one time.

I told the sales person I was told that if I had any scratches within the first six months they would repair them. I told the young lady at your desk (should have got here name) that was never told the scratches would only be repaired
only once. I guess I would have probably kept the glasses until the very last day. Sounds dumb, it is.

I told her how unhappy I was with the product
and she just lost a customer. I have several pairs of glasses and never had this problem before like this.
I have lots of family and friends. There is a theory called the 10 time theory. One person tells at least 10 about your product and these
ridiculous rules.

Each person tells ten people.

Each of them tell 10 people. It would have made more sense to tell the customer we only repair scratches one time, when purchased.

Warby Parker Eyewear - Question

It was fine, but I thought the message shown on your website when I got your phone number so I could call to see if you take my insurance was very juvenile. It said something to the effect of, Tell us what you are pissed about.

Seriously? Are you guys all in middle school?!? Very unprofessional and lame. You need to send whoever came up with that stupid statement right back to middle school.

Makes the whole company look silly. Good grief!

I just noticed the same statement at the bottom of this survey. Makes me wonder if I should get my glasses from somewhere else if you all are so professionally tone deaf!

Replace lost glasses

I didnt mean to sign in as a pissed customer, as I was not. I merely wanted to reach a customer service rep who could assist me in re-ordering a pair of lost glasses. When I connected with Kristen, she did just that.

A Complaint

To Whom It May Concern-- On January 6th, I got a notice that said my order, a pair of glasses, was being processed. The order, I was told, should arrive on or before January 21st.

On January 15th, I was told that my order had shipped and, again, it should arrive on or before January 21st. On January 23rd, by now two days after the due date, I called the Warby Parker store on Washington Street and was told I should give it a couple more days. COVID is causing complications. On the 25th I called and was told that I should probably give it a couple more days.

But it should be there definitely by the 27th. On the 27th, the employee sheepishly apologized and told me that the package was lost in the mail and she was sending out another order. She said that she would send it the fastest way possible. So it should be there...in four days.

That would make it Saturday January 30th. Saturday January 30th came and went. On Thursday February 4TH, I again called the store, only this time I got a customer service employee. Who, at this point explained to me that my glasses were not being shipped to the store but, rather, to my apartment.

I was not told this fact until now. Which complicates things since I have no buzzer on my door. (Not that I've gotten a notice yet from USPS, because I hadn't!) By now, somewhat BEYOND flustered, I told this employee that I worried for Warby Parker because the Trump Administration had seriously hampered the United States Postal Service. The employee muttered some apology...but said nothing about the USPS.

And so now, six days later, last night, February 9th, I finally get a notice--NOT from USPS but from UPS. Who is the company that is actually shipping my package. Who, since I have no buzzer on my door, they couldn't complete the service. This was my first notice, on February 9th.

At this point, my glasses are only a few days short of being three weeks late. Anyway, the next morning--today--I went calling around trying to find out where my package had landed. A UPS store sent me to UPS tracking. I told the automated voice at UPS Tracking that I wanted to speak to an operator to tell that person that I have no buzzer and I will come and pick up my package.

But the automated voice did not have my telephone number nor did it have my tracking number. So, as I continued to SCREAM at the automated voice, it hung up on me. Leaving me apoplectic. In conclusion, I just want to say that I'm lowering my Warby Parker grade from a 9, which I had given to you after my exam, to a 2.

I really hope that, in the future, your employees can better communicate with the company that ships your product.

Because right now?...They don't seem to have a clue. Sincerely, John Cadwallader

Order delayed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Order was place originally on 1/30/21, glasses have not been received. Email regarding order states on the Nancy sunglasses was to ship on 22nd of February, the other pair of glasses email states the 17th of February. When I contacted your call center I was told due to weather in Texas last week the orders have been delayed. I can understand that, but why would you not update the order status stating that!!!

Stop harassing me with junk emails!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I made the mistake of once inquiring about Warby Parker glasses. Since then I have been inundated with junk mail and advertisements from them. I have twice requested to have them stop and they do not. Once they have your email address, they will harass you forever and sell your address to third party companies who will in turnDon't give them your email address! harass you. Stay away from this company! I purchased glasses at Zenni Optical and they were perfect. A much more legitimate business with higher ethical standards.

Funny thing is I never even gave them my email address, simply went on the website briefly and have been receiving their marketing emails once a day since then. (I think it has something to do with Chrome as the very same thing happened on a recent visit to the Laura Geller website.) I will not buy from a company that operates that way.
